Partnerships & Collaborations

Highland BlindCraft's Highly Commended

United by Craft,

Driven by Purpose!

At Highland BlindCraft, we believe in the power of working together.

Over the years, we’ve been proud to partner with like-minded businesses, designers, and community organisations who share our values of quality, sustainability, and social purpose. From bespoke design collaborations to local initiatives that uplift our communities, these partnerships help us do more — and do better. Scroll down to explore some of the incredible people and organisations we’ve had the pleasure of working with.

Balfour Beatty & SSEN Transmission

Highland BlindCraft is proud to be working with SSEN Transmission and Balfour Beatty on the Skye Reinforcement Project, supplying 85 handcrafted mattresses for the Glen Mor worker village.

This collaboration not only supports a major infrastructure project but also creates meaningful local employment and training opportunities for people with disabilities and sight loss in the Highlands.

Sustainability is at the heart of the partnership – mattress covers will be refreshed as workers move on, and once the project is complete, refurbished mattresses will be donated to local charities to reduce waste and benefit the community.

We’re delighted to play a part in this project, combining our values of quality, community, and social impact.
