Returns Policy:

We know that you will be pleased with your purchases from Highland Blindcraft, However, there may be occasions when you will need to return items to us.

Items faulty on arrival:

If your items are faulty on arrival, you have 14 working days in which to inform us of the fault in writing. Please note that if this is not reported in the said time then this may jeopardise your rights to a repair or replacement.

We will arrange to visit and view the damage reported by you. We'll either issue a replacement or repair the item. The decision on whether we repair or replace will be made by our visiting staff member.

If an item needs to be returned, it should be in its original packaging complete with all accessories and documentation.

Items faulty in warranty period:

If any of your purchases which are manufactured by Highland Blindcraft develop a fault within 5 years of the purchase date you are entitled to a warranty repair or replacement, subject to inspection by our staff member. Goods which are not manufactured by Highland Blindcraft i.e. wooden bed frames, wooden furniture and bedding are guaranteed by the manufacturer for 1 year only. Faults caused by misuse and general wear and tear are exempt from the guarantee. Any faults reported after 5 years (manufactured by Highland Blindcraft) or 1 year not manufactured by Highland Blindcraft are NOT covered by this guarantee, therefore NO repair or replacement will be offered.

The warranty shall not apply when:

- The product has been soiled or stained in any way.

- The product has been damaged accidently after delivery.

- The mattress has been bent or folded in such a way as to cause damage to spring sets.

- General wear and tear, including staining, excessive soiling, abrasion, accidental damage are excluded.

The warranty is non-transferable and valid from the date of original purchase only.

Mobility and fireside chairs:

Mobility chairs are manufactured by M. Sadiq (Cotswolds chairs) with a 12 month guarantee from date of purchase. Upon processing of a valid claim, M Sadiq chairs will decide on whether to repair the chair or provide new parts or a new replacement chair. Damage by accident, abuse, misuse, flood, fire, earthquake, or unusual use is exempt from the guarantee.

Mobility chairs only – limited extended guarantee:

M. Sadiq (Cotswolds chairs) also provides a 5-year extended guarantee on all recliner chairs. The guarantee covers recliner actions, electric motors, control handsets, power supply units and control units up to 5 years from date of purchase. The guarantee covers parts and materials but does not include labour costs. The limited extended guarantee runs concurrently with the 12 month guarantee.

If you change your mind:

If you have simply changed your mind about any item, you will NOT be offered a refund as all our items are made to order in your choice of material, size, and finish. We may in some circumstances offer an exchange at our discretion.
